  43. I dn't believe in hassling atheists or agnostics; however, everyone 
  44. agrees that there are at the very least "principles" of some sort that 
  45. allow existence. I call the "principles" God. Sure, it smacks of 
  46. semantics, but give it some thought...you may reply that these 
  47. principles are not sentient nor self-aware, as most folks require of a 
  48. supreme being; but what is sentience? All of existence is the 
  49. "sentience" of the "principles"...maybe...
  50. The thing is, if you give this argument any credence at all, you 
  51. acknowledge a -constant- presence of God...

  66. A friend of mine bought a house near Whitley Streiber's (said friend is 
  67. also a writer). Streiber subsequently told a third party (who reported 
  68. back to my friend) that Streiber was convinced that said friend was 
  69. peering into Streiber's windows at night, trying to steal ideas. Have 
  70. you read any of Streiber's fiction? Like L.Ron Hubbard, Streiber was 
  71. writing some of the same stuff -as fiction- years before trying to pass 
  72. it off as fact.

  127. AHH But what if one does not believe in a Supreme Being separate from 
  128. oneself.  What if they believe and therefore have proof to themselves 
  129. that GODDESS exists!   And what if they also have proof to themselves 
  130. that UFO's exist and abductions occur.  Whether or not anyone else 
  131. believes them is inconsequential, because you need prove nothing to no 
  132. one.

  151. possible that the Gods of the Ancient peoples were perhaps 
  152. Non-terrestrial beings who were here at that time....we really have no 
  153. proof one way or the other, but it is theoretically possible, isn't it?

  170. The Bible is a very large book of UFO 
  171. stories.  Many things could be explained 
  172. by visitors from other planets.  Would 
  173. not we seem as gods to a primitive 
  174. culture with our science and medicine, 
  175. although beings capable of long distance 
  176. space travel would have a much more 
  177. advanced amount of science?

  210. Bob, Hi, you asked about Striber's fiction writings. I read his book 
  211. "Cat Magic" which was published in 1987 by Grafton, of London England. 
  212. There are some parallels to "Communion" and "Transformation." Examples 
  213. are:-
  214. 1. Page 26 "One of her most treasured talents was the ability to have
  215. detailed visualizations on demand. But they never came like this, 
  216. unbidden. And yet, despite the fact that she was healthy and not in 
  217. the least tired, she found herself in the grip of just such an 
  218. uncalled vision." Compare this to Strieber's entity visits and his 
  219. numerous comments on the detailed, coloured, 3D imagery he 
  220. experienced.

  222. 2. Page 141. Character Tom the Cat.
  223. "He could feel the faint rush of microwaves from the newly installed 
  224. motion detector in the centre of the room...when he wanted Dr Walker 
  225. to come in here, he would trip the alarm, but not until then." Compare 
  226. this to the visitors ability to fail to trip Striber's burgular alarm 
  227. in his cabin.

  229. 3. page 288. The character Mandy is "dead" after being experimented 
  230. on. A fly lands on her and lays its eggs: "...in the cathedral of her 
  231. left nostril." Where do abductees reckon the needle is inserted, up 
  232. through the nose.

  234. Bob, also worth looking out for is Strieber's latest novel: "The 
  235. Wild",1991 Futura books, London. It's about a man who turns into a 
  236. wolf. Some interesting comments in it about Earth and co-existing 
  237. entities-wolves.
